Two works by Bernard Hughes will be broadcast on BBC Radio Three in the coming weeks.
The Singers’ concert recording of The Death of Balder from the City of London Festival will feature in Afternoon on 3 on Friday 27th November. Over the festive period, Hughes’s The Shepherds’ Carol will be among the Christmas carols by living composers showcased in a series of recordings made specially by the Singers. It will be broadcast on Monday 28th December, at 8.30am.
