Suitable for children from 8 years upwards (KS 2-3), these quirky numbers are available in three formats - full score, words only, and vocal-line only - making them ideal for both classroom use and concert performance. The booklets are beautifully illustrated by Sam Dowson, providing an appealing visual counterpart to Hughes's lyrics. The full score booklet is also available with an accompaniment CD, which contains both stand-alone accompaniments for each song, and age-appropriate performances to sing along to.
Of course, Bernard Hughes is no stranger to comedy - he won the Perrier Best Newcomer Award at the 1999 Edinburgh Festival and has appeared at Her Majesty’s Theatre and on Channel 4.
